In classic Utah fashion, it snowed a bunch after Spring had already announced itself!
Me and Russ are pretty fun I guess, but not when it comes to April Fools Day. The day before I usually try to think of some fun, last minute plan, but I never end up doing anything, I don't even know if Russ even realizes what day it is=) Help us be more fun, what are some of your traditions?

Lets see one tradition is not punking mommy!! Very wise family!
Once upon a time April Fools Day was one of my favorite holidays. Me and roomates (one in particular) would come up with all kinds of fun plans. A lot of people got really mad even though I don't really think the jokes were that big of a deal. But now I'm like you. I always want to think of fun stuff but I just need the social energy and support that roommates gave. Maybe April Foolsing already bloomed in my life and is on the down cycle.
We didn't really do anything either. I tried to think of something, but nope, nothing. I just found out that a friend from our last ward had her baby on April 1st! I guess that if you were pregnant like that you could always claim that you were having contractions, but I think that Jon would be upset with me if I got his hopes up like that.
Ummm...one April Fools thing that I remember my mom doing, was she made my dad a lunch to take to work and she cut out a piece of pantyhose and put it in his lunchmeat sandwich. I've always thought that it sounded funny, but I don't know what my dad thought of it.
:) I am pretty much like you too, but I try REAL hard to squeeze out SOME sort of trick since my mom always did. Here are a couple:
*Set all the clocks an hour ahead of time. Hubby wakes up & is ready an hour early, then you have an hour to kill! It's classic.
*Mom has a good one: Tie a rubberband around your sink-sprayer (if it's a side one & not just a spray faucet). Whenever somebody turns on the water, they get a good spray on the gut. ... it's hilarious. (but watch out, the booby-trap will get YOU too ;)
*Coy makes his own breakfast before we all wake up, usually: fried eggs. This year I blew out the yolks from his eggs. lol.
*Ryan came up with a good one: paint their face with water colors before they wake up! (spots) haha! - reminds me of when my sisters put yellow marker on my toenails while I slept. I was worried sick!
I could probably come up with a few more, but that would require waking up another brain cell. Maybe later. Hope you like these, though ;)
